The Holy Life

By jamesaguiar - Posted on 09 February 2010

You stop to pray as if to say
That holiness rest in such moments of peace
Like sitting alone on one's coral reef-
Apart from life
And absent strife.
A life, itself, should be a sacred act-
Grateful, acceptant- a religious tract-
A recitative of what should be
Apart from what happens to others. You see:
Existence ought  and should justify
that you are, you do, you live and you try.
