Girls of Spring

By jamesaguiar - Posted on 19 January 2010

Girls Of Spring
the girls of spring
garbed in diminutive dresses
move, undulating, unachievable, untouchable
behind set smiles.

Their bare shoulders and thighs: petals
dimpled by cool breezes
offering fleeting glimpses
tastes of sweet nectar.

The fragrance as they pass
evanescent as night jasmine
lingers, lifts, then is lost
binding this sense of spring to each one
touched by their bouquet.
